What happens if the alarm goes off while I am abroad?
The detector that triggered sends video and audio to our own Alarm Receiving Centre, which is staffed 24 hours a day. An operator reviews the footage straight away. If it is a real intrusion, the police are called with a verified alarm and you get a notification on your phone with the clip, whether you are in Maspalomas or in Munich. If it is a false activation, you are informed and nothing else happens. You do not need to be awake, online or in the same time zone for the system to do its job.
Do I need to be in Gran Canaria for the survey and the installation?
Not necessarily. The first conversation can happen by phone or video call from wherever you are, and we can arrange the survey and the installation with your keyholder, property manager or a trusted neighbour in Maspalomas. You can see the status of the connection and the battery in the app, so you know the system is up and running while you are away from Maspalomas.
